Socketeer

Terms of Service

Last updated: June 2026

Socketeer is a free, pre-launch tool from Reaching Random LLC that generates 3D-printable Gridfinity socket trays from your measurements. By using it you agree to these terms. They are written in plain language and are not legal advice.

The service

Socketeer lets you create socket sets, design tray layouts, and download the resulting STL files for printing. The service is provided free of charge and is under active development — features may change, break, or be removed, and the service may be unavailable at times without notice.

Your content

The socket sets and layouts you create are yours. You are responsible for the accuracy of the measurements you enter. You retain ownership of your designs and of any STL files you generate and download.

Acceptable use

Use Socketeerfor its intended purpose: designing and printing your own storage trays. Do not attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the service or other users’ data.

No warranty on printed parts

Socketeerand the files it produces are provided “as is,” without warranty of any kind. Generated geometry depends entirely on the measurements you provide and on your printer, materials, and settings. You are responsible for verifying that any printed part fits and is fit for your purpose. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Reaching Random LLC is not liable for failed prints, wasted material, or any damages arising from use of the service.

Changes

We may update these terms as the product evolves. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
